An education network in New Jersey is actively seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join one of their schools in Northern New Jersey.
About the Opportunity:
The School Nurse (RN) will:
About the Opportunity:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 7:30am to 3pm (30 minute lunch break)
The School Nurse (RN) will:
- Serve as the main point of contact for all health-related concerns at the school
- Provide skilled nursing assessment and care for students, including students with special medical needs
- Serve as a resource for families and school personnel and act as liaison with community agencies and providers
- Ensure compliance with district, state and federal rules and regulations in performing screening tests and nursing procedures
- Ensure 100% collection of student health documentation for incoming new students
- Maintain organized and up-to-date physical student health files
- Perform other duties, as needed
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- NJS Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS / CPR certification
- Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
- 2 year of experience as a School Nurse
- NJ School Nurse certification
